Nikos Aliagas, our own man in Paris and host of France’s Star Academy, made a surprise appearance on Dancing with the Stars France, and totally captivated the audience with a powerful, emotional zeibekiko dance.
The song? The timeless classic “Fengári mágia mou ’kanes” (“Moon, you cast a spell on me”) performed by the legendary Dimitris Mitropanos. The moment? One of those goosebump-inducing ones, where you just feel proud to be Greek.
With his usual grace and authenticity, Aliagas posted the video on his socials, captioning it with a wink:
“Un petit zéïbékiko pour la route!” – “A little zeibekiko for the road!”
The crowd loved it – in France and in Greece – because Nikos never forgets where he comes from. Despite living abroad for years, he carries Greece in his heart and shares it proudly with millions of viewers.
